Grand City Tour of Prague

During this four hours trip you will get a general idea of the city. It will cover the Old Town, Lesser Town, Hradčany Town (Castle Town), and a short walk through Prague Castle. During the rest of the tour you will see highlights by car like the Municipal House, State Opera, National Museum, Wenceslas Square, Charles Square, Dancing House and plenty of another sites. Very suitable for your first contact with Prague. Duration of the tour is 4 hours.




Strahov Monastery, Prague Loretto and Prague Castle Tour

The tour will consists of two parts - upper Hradčany (Castle Town) where you can see the 12th century Strahov Monastery with its baroque library halls and pilgrimage place Loretto well-known for its Holly House, carillon and Treasury. In the second part you will explore Prague Castle with the St.Vitus Cathedral and St.Wenceslas chapel, the Old Royal Palace with its late gothic Vladislav hall, then you will also see the Romanesque 10th century St.George Basilica. In the eastern part of Prague Castle you should not miss the Golden Lane with tiny houses from the Rudolphine period famous for the legend about alchemists who attempted to produce artificial gold for the emperor.




Jewish Quarter and the Old Town

Only a few buildings once forming Prague's Jewish town have survived until today. All the monuments - synagogues and cemetery - are concentrated in a relatively small area covering a few square meters. The Old Town Square is closely linked with the history of the Czech nation and it has witnessed all-important events, which determined the course of its history. The Old Town Square is also a showcase of architectural styles. Duration of the tour is 3-4 hours, by car and some walking.




Jewish Heritage in Prague

You will be taken not only through the famous Jewish quarter in the Old Town, but during the 4hours´ tour you will have time to get to learn something more about Rabbi Löw and his Golem, you will see the streets where Franz Kafka once walked and can visit also the cemetery where this well-known writer is buried. Duration of the tour is 4 hours, by car.




Old Town, Charles Bridge, Lesser Town

During this tour you can follow the famous Royal Route of the Middle Ages. Some of the Czech kings took this way when going from the Royal Palace (which stood near the Powder Tower) to Prague Castle. You can stop and see the Old Town City Hall with the Astronomical Clock, 13th century Týn Church, the Theatre of Estates where W.A.Mozart conducted his Don Giovanni, panoramic view of Charles Bridge, Kampa peninsula, baroque gardens bellow Prague Castle and finally the churches of Lesser Town like Our Lady Victorious with the miraculous wax statue of Infant Jesus or St. Nicolas, the most beautiful baroque church in our country. Duration of the tour is 4 hours, some walking and by car.




Prague Art Nouveau

Around the turn of 19th century there originated a very pleasant and decorative style - in English called Art Nouveau and in Czech Secese. A large number of remarkable houses, buildings and palaces were designed that period in Prague. The most significant of them is for example the Municipal House or Pařížská Street with enclosed area of the Old Town. But this is just the beginning. Plenty of other interesting structures are to be seen during our 4-hour trip. The tour can conclude at the Museum of Alfons Mucha who is inseparably connected with this style. Duration of the tour is 3-4hours.




Baroque gardens in the Lesser Town

The tour will consist of three parts - the garden complex (Lederbur, Kollowrat, Pálffy and Fürstenberk) situated on the southern slope of the hill below Prague Castle. Then you will continue through Wallenstein garden with the statues of Classical deities (copies of statues of Dutch sculptor Adrian de Vries). At the end you will visit probably the most beautiful garden in Prague called Vrtba. All the gardens are now a kind of small museum of Baroque garden architecture with typical "Sala terrena", sculptures and vases. Duration of the tour is 3 hours.




Prague by night

It is really an unforgettable experience to see our city illuminated at the night. Most of the important structures are illuminated as for instance Prague Castle, Rudolfinum, Old Town Square and Týn Church, Municipal House National Museum in Wenceslas Square and the other locations. Duration of the tour is 3 hours.




Vyšehrad Castle Tour

Vyšehrad, situated on the rock overlooking the Vltava River, is one of the most memorable places in Czech history. According to old tales it was the seat of the Czech Princess Libuše, who from this spot prophesied the glory of Prague, and of the first Přemyslids. During the three hour tour you can visit this noteworthy place, where an 11th century Romanesque Rotunda of St.Martin is preserved, 17th century Baroque Leopold Gate, old fortification, 18th century Former Canon's House. Dominating the Castle is the Neo-Gothic Church of SS.Peter and Paul. Worthwhile seeing is especially Vyšehrad Cemetery, where famous Czech personalities are buried. For example composers Bedřich Smetana, Antonín Dvořák, painters (such as Alfons Mucha) writers like Karel Čapek. Driven and partly walking 3-hour tour.




Trója Châtea

The first Baroque Summer palace in Prague, built from 1679 to1685 by J.B.Mathey as a summer seat for V.V. Šternberk. A remarkable supplement of its architecture is the grand outdoor staircase with a group of statues representing the victory of Olympian gods over Titans. The interiors of the Château are adorned with wall paintings by F. and G.Marchetti. Since its general reconstruction and modernization (1977-1988) exhibition halls of Prague Municipal Gallery (permanent exhibition of 19th century Czech painting) have been installed there. Duration of the tour is three hours.




National Gallery Tour

Collections of National Gallery can be found in at least six places scattered through Prague, as for instance Šternberk Palace nearby Prague Castle houses Collections of European Art from Antique to the end of Baroque (El Greco, Goya, Rubens, Rembrandt), in St.George Convent in Prague Castle you can find art of mannerism and baroque in Bohemia, 13th century St.Agnes Convent houses collections of medieval art on Bohemia and Central Europe or for example Veletržní (Fair) Palace serves as the seat of collections of art of 19th and 20th century. The tour lasts at least three hours.




Following famous composers Tour

You can choose two of three museums of world famous composers. W.A.Mozart visited our city in 1780s five times and had great success with his Don Giovanni. Bertramka Villa, where he stayed in 1787 today houses his museum. Bedřich Smetana is well known for his symphonic poem named after the River Vltava and Bartend Bride Opera. Just nearby Charles Bridge above the river there is his museum. Finally another genius of Czech classical music is Antonín Dvořák and his New World Symphony and Rusálka (Water Nymph) Opera. The Museum of this composer is situated in 18th century villa America. Duration of the tour is 3 hours.




Mozart in Prague Tour

During this three hour trip you can visit places in Prague connected with the famous composer - as for instance Mozart's museum Bertramka Villa, a place where he created his Don Giovanni, also plenty of another spots - Estates Theatre, Church of the Assumption of our Lady or St.Nicolas Church in Malá Strana.
